It holds water in winter and cracks in summer, so turf and garden beds need proper soil preparation and drainage to perform well.
Some newer estates have guidelines for front-yard landscaping. Check your estate requirements before you start, and we’ll plan the front garden to suit.
Moving into a new home often means starting with compacted builder’s fill, rubble and uneven ground. Laying turf straight over it usually leads to patchy lawns, pooling water and plants that struggle.
We start with the ground:
This order of work gives you a garden that lasts, rather than one that needs fixing after the first winter.
Most garden trees can be pruned or removed without approval, but some can’t. In the City of Casey, a planning permit is needed in certain cases, including properties in a Vegetation Protection Overlay, larger canopy trees, and native vegetation on properties over 4,000 square metres. That last point often applies to acreage in Narre Warren North.
Minor pruning, like removing dead branches, doesn’t need a permit. We flag any likely tree constraints during the quote, and Casey recommends contacting its planning team before removing or heavily pruning trees.
We work on homes across Narre Warren, from brand-new builds to established family homes. Typical projects include:
We also provide landscaping for commercial and managed properties, including shops and offices, townhouse and unit developments, body corporate and strata grounds, and new residential developments.
